    Charlie- 4yr 16.3 h Friesian/draft horse that is so darn cool. This lovely horse rides, drives, trail rides and so much more. Charlie had a lovely start put on him when we purchased him. I saw some video of him being ridden in the indoor while another horse was driving a carriage and I thought well darn that horse has a good brain and that has absolutely been the case! If you want fancy with the brain then I think he fit that criteria.

Having more of a driving background we have spent some time working his canter just getting the transition and teaching him the canter is "allowed." He is so smart and it has come quite quickly. Ava has claimed him as one of her favorite rides and it is easy to see why. She has been putting in a lot of quality flatwork with him but also some ground driving/lunging as well building the topline and some stretch. He has so much power and movement so he just needs to figure out where to put it all. He has the best work ethic and is just game to try anything you ask. The rideability is just lovely on this horse. He is brave beyond brave out trail riding, jumping, etc. He will allow any horse to just get right on his butt and Charlie will lead the way! I love that he also will hang in the back of the trail to give another horse company. He just doesn't care where you ride him he is just happy to be out and about!

He is the type that can sit for a week and come out the same horse. He got a little cut on his pastern right in the crease that is sort of like that annoying paper cut of a wound so it has been a bit of slow  going with him but even when we let him chill he is always just the same. He has put on weight/muscle/topline and is just this huge beefcake of a horse. Absolutely stunning!

He is safe to ride out and about anywhere which I think also comes from the driving background. Lots of quality miles put on him. He is just a brave, smart and willing horse is all aspects. He is excellent out trail riding and is the type that will lead or will stick in the back keeping a green horse company just as easily. Traffic safe. Bridges, water, ditches and so much more all no problem for him! He is an absolute blast to ride out and about. We absolutely intend to get this one in the hunt field asap!

He headed out for his first xc school and as expected was so good. He is probably our greenest with the jumping as we really just started him jumping recently but he has the most willing attitude. Not every jump had the perfect technique but he is a big horse still figuring out where all the parts are which is very normal. When he gets it, it is really lovely!

This is a very uphill lovely horse to ride that I think will score very well in dressage and jump around with confidence. His brain would mean he easily would hunt, event, jumpers or really anything. I also think he could be a darn sexy driving horse!

He is sound. Appears clean. No injuries. No vices. Barefoot with incredible feet. Perfect manners. Clips, ties, ships, great for baths, grooming, tacking, mounting, lunging, ground driving and so much more. Just easy to live with in all regards.

We all really LOVE this one. This is my first serious ad of him now that he really looks and feels his best!
