Sebastian is a 5yr 15.1 h gelding bay sabino crossbred. Sebastian had been with his former owner for several years working on the dude ranch. He is kid safe, crosses water, bridges, tarps, trail rides anywhere and everywhere and is nicely started in the ring riding western. He neck reins, side passes, lopes/jogs circles, etc. He also has some tricks such as bowing, laying down, etc although I cannot say we have tested them out just yet :) He has experience ponying other horses and being ponied by other horses. He trail rides out solo and in groups. We have hit the trails to verify all of the above and he is exactly that! This horse is a trail master type. See the video where a tractor pulling a baler just happened to come down the road and he just calmly walked right along.

I thought he would be neat english/western crossover type as a lot of my customers wants something with this sort of background. He has just been one that has taken right to jumping and good lord is he cute over a fence! He is brave in the ring and out xc. He has popped around all the fillers in the ring at home. Today he headed out xc. He is still green but just such a willing horse that is incredibly fun and safe to ride. You can put your leg on and ride him up to the fences. If you say whoa this horse has a very firm whoa button so I think he inspires confidence on the riders who maybe want to feel like they are a bit more in control. You need to squeeze him a bit for support but I personally love how quiet he is jumping around both in the ring and out xc.

We have spent some time at home working on his flatwork teaching him some new basics, stretching, leg yielding, etc. He has been learning to lunge in the side reins and is starting to really stretch down. I think he is quite a cute little mover and I like that he is built uphill which just keeps you centered nicely in the saddle.

When he came to us he was a little bit pushy in the barn with his manners but that resolved very quickly with some daily work. It was more that I think he probably hadn't spend a lot of time "solo" in the barn or maybe not even been in crossties. He is now 100% normal but he may need a little reminder when he goes somewhere new that he has manners. He is excellent with grooming, baths, clipping, mounting, tacking, loading, ties to trailer, etc.

He is sound, no injuries and has no vices. He is fun sized! Super cute with such an interesting color.
